This transceiver is dedicated to switchgear monitoring. It’s optimized for interrogation inside metallic cavities like the switchgear cabinet and tuned to be compliant with IEC 62271 enabling a license-free use in switchgear cabinets worldwide.  
 
It features various options for additional measurement inputs, partial discharge detection, I/O options and various communication interfaces. This customizable set of options creates a comprehensive yet simple and easy to use platform, autonomous or connected to a network.

TSA EV01 & TSA EV11 sensors have been designed specifically for electric equipment monitoring, like air-insulated medium-voltage switchgears, and feature strong dielectric robustness. They have been designed such as to not impact the electric performance of the equipment and to preserve its dielectric robustness.

This antenna, centered around 434 MHz, can be used as: 

•   emission antenna for SAW sensors 
•  receiver antenna for partial discharge measurements
•  sensor antenna deported from the sensor

This sensor is advised as an additional analog input in monitoring applications of power assets, specifically when the optional feature “Partial Discharge Detection” is selected. Indeed, ambient temperature and relative humidity provide relevant complementary information for the analysis of Partial Discharge activity level trend. The external probe (cable 10 cm) enables an accurate measurement of the ambient parameters. For MV AIS cubicles monitoring, it’s typically installed in the cable compartment of the cubicle, on a DIN-rail. It’s connected to the transceiver/platform (installed in the low-voltage compartment) with a wire which length is custom for each cubicle type and available cable pass-through
